- Make a plan of your new home and decide on the use of rooms.
- Start your packing – label boxes clearly with the room it will be going into.
- Have a clear out! Be ruthless and throw out the things you don’t need or give them to charity. 2 weeks to go…
- Inform Gas and Electrical companies that you will be the new owner of the property.

- Have one last final check that you have packed everything.
- Close and lock all doors and windows.
- One last tip: Please make sure that your new house is secure. Burglars are known to prey on houses where packing boxes are visible through the windows or outside the house as much of your valuable equipment will be neatly packed in its original box. Just be aware!
